Catch a lift Community Workout
On Sunday, October 1st at 9:00am, we are hosting a bootcamp style multi-station Community Workout led by adaptive veteran athletes to support the Catch A Lift Fund (CAL), a Maryland-based 501(c)3 non-profit that helps combat-injured American veterans across America heal holistically through fitness, wellness, nutrition, and community. CAL has served over 9,000 veterans since its founding in 2010, providing the resources and community support needed to shed thousands of pounds of excess weight, build lean muscle, reduce reliance on pharmaceuticals, and lessen the impacts of injuries including post-traumatic stress and traumatic brain injury.
Refreshments, snacks and lunch will be provided, and in addition to a great workout, attendees will be inspired by the stories and coaching of CAL veterans.
Onelife Fitness Hunt Valley has formed a team to participate in the workout, and we encourage you to join and help support this great cause. The workout will be accessible to all ages and fitness levels, so please invite friends, family and colleagues to sign up too! Registration is $35 and includes a CAL tee shirt, and kids under 12 are FREE with an adult registration. Donations are welcome even if you can’t make the workout
