Children’s author Maya Jai Pinson is a busy 8th grader, and a native Washingtonian. She excels academically, she’s an actress and an athlete, she plays the drums and the cello, and she loves to laugh and have fun.
Maya realizes that balancing academics and extracurricular activities can sometimes be a struggle, so she wrote Back Pack Lilly to inspire kids to keep their priorities straight because schoolwork is more important.
